A grieving family unravels a decades-old secret when a stolen Picasso, hidden behind a dying painter’s clown sketch, ignites greed, betrayal, and a fight for love over wealth in this poignant mystery-drama.

"Picasso Lives Here" is a two-act mystery-drama. The play revolves around the Burrows family as they navigate the impending death of Faith Burrows, a painter dying of brain cancer, and the revelation of a long-held secret: a stolen Picasso painting, Tête d’Arlequin, hidden behind one of her clown sketches.

The narrative follows David Burrows, Faith’s husband, as he grapples with grief, family dysfunction, and the moral dilemma posed by the painting’s discovery after her death. The family—comprising their three children (Clarkson, Clara, and Christopher), Clara’s boyfriend Scott, Faith’s sister Aunt Grace, and the enigmatic gardener Julio—faces internal conflicts and external threats from thieves tied to the painting’s criminal past.

Through betrayal, redemption, and a climactic confrontation, the family ultimately chooses love and unity over wealth, returning the painting to the authorities and finding healing in Faith’s enduring legacy.
